Quick update and some Couponing Tips!

Since Memorial Weekend will be upon us just wanted to let everyone know they do not put the coupons in the Sunday Newspaper on holidays and holiday weekends. Weird I know, so if you only by the paper for the coupons do not bother this weekend because there will not be any!

Hopefully you save your unused coupons from the last few sunday papers to hold you over. Plus when you save the unused coupons there are always new and better deals each week the the coupons you couldn't use last week because nothing was on sale, well they might be usable this week. So make you keep your coupons until the expiration date because you never know when they might come in handy.

Couponing Tips.

- If you are going to use a bunch of the same coupons on one specific product, be courteous and leave product for other people. It is just polite.

- Make sure you read all the fine print on your coupons. Because sometimes the picture on the coupon and what the coupon is valid for are two different things. It makes checking out faster.

- Make a list of what you are buying before you go to the store. With the items on your list write next to it that you have a coupon and how much the coupon is for. And stick to your list!

- Check your stores coupon policy. Some policies will prevent a certain amount, or even multiple transactions. Be informed first. You can check some of these policies on store websites.

- You can find coupons other then in the Sunday paper. Target.com has printable coupons, and www.coupon.com has printable manufacturer coupons. Every month Walgreens has a coupon booklet at the entrance of the store along with its weekly ad which also has coupons in it available at the store!!! Vons.com has Ecoupons which you can load to your store savings card and will come off automatically when you are checking out!!!

- Talk to your family and friends about coupons. I am sure many of them get the Sunday paper and never use the coupons or you can trade coupons. Let people know you use coupons and people are always apt to saving them for you. Plus, it is always a great conversational topic!

- Share your knowledge of coupons and savings of all kinds with people who are struggling or just anyone looking to save money . You would be surprised at how many people do not realize how helpful these little coupons can be. Coupons have helped my family tremendously and I want to share it with whoever wants to listen and learn.

Send me a story of your recent couponing experience or you recent store savings. What store did you go to? How much did you save? How has using coupons been for you, easy- difficult-confusing-fun? Let me know!
